Antique Alice's Adventures in Wonderland book by Lewis Carroll. This book has a very rare and lovely decorative cover from HM Caldwell that is green and gold and features and image of a goddess/woman. There are also many black and white illustrations within.
Alice in Wonderland is a story about Alice who falls down a rabbit hole and lands into a fantasy world that is full of weird, wonderful people and animals. It's a classic children's book that's popular with children and adults alike.
There is no date in this book, but it was likely published in the 1890s or early 1900s. There is wear and discoloration to the cover, spine, and pages due to age and the pages in the beginning appear to be splitting from the spine but are still in tact.
