This is a beautiful 1880 First Edition book called A Dream of Fair Women by Alfred Tennyson. The book includes several engraved illustrations of women throughout history.
A Dream of Fair Women is a poem about many famous historical and legendary women, such as Cleopatra, Helen of Troy, and Joan of Arc who are presented in scenes of their tragic fates.
The cover, spine, and pages have wear/bumping and discoloration due to age (it's over 145 years old!). The book measures about 9" x 6.5". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
