Antique 1904 Rose in Bloom book by Louisa M Alcott, author of Little Women. This is a very pretty green and gold edition with a woman looking out her window surrounded by roses on the cover. There are also some black and white illustrations throughout.
In this sequel to Eight Cousins, Rose Campbell returns after two years of traveling around the world. Before she marries anyone, Rose is determined to establish herself as an independent young woman seeking a role in philanthropy. This is a great coming of age story and would make a wonderful gift for any book collector.
Due to its age, there is some wear and discoloration on the cover, spine, and pages. The back cover is a little loose (pictured), but all pages are still in tact. Book measures about 8" x 5.5" x 1.5". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
