This book includes Thoreau's recorded adventures including chapters on The Shipwreck, Stage-Coach Views, The Plains of Nauset, The Beach, The Wellfleet Oysterman, The Beach Again, Across the Cape, The Highland Light, The Sea and the Desert, and Provincetown. There are lovely black and white images throughout the book, as well a map of Cape Cod on the inside covers.
There is wear and discoloration on the cover, pages, and spine due to age, but overall this book is still in pretty good condition. No dust cover. Book measures about 8.5" x 5.75".
