Rare antique 1901 Poems by Emily Dickinson book edited by two of her friends T.W. Higginson and Mabel Loomis Todd. This is the Second Series, Tenth Edition with a gray and gold cover.
I simply adore Dickinson's poetry and can read her books cover to cover in one night. As stated in the first series of poems, "The verses of Emily Dickinson [were] produced absolutely without the thought of publication, and solely by way of expression of the writer's own mind."
This book is split up into sections: Life, Love, Nature, and Time and Eternity. This is not a full collection of her poetry, but includes over 150 poems.
This would be an amazing gift for any Dickinson or poetry lover or to read and display on your own bookshelf for years to come.
There is wear and tear and discoloration to the cover, spine, and pages due to age. The front cover is a little loose/starting to detach but still in tact. This was also an old library book, so there are some page tears/holes, a missing section of the title page (pictured), and the library card holder at the back of the book has been removed (pictured). The book measures about 7" x 4.5". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
