Antique The Scarlet Letter book by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The cover and spine are a lovely blue-ish green color with gold letters, a Henry Altemus edition.
The Scarlet Letter explores guilt, revenge, and redemption in 17th century Boston (or the Puritan Massachusetts Bay Colony).
There is no publication date in this book, but it was likely published in the early 1900s. Cover, spine, and pages have wear and discoloration/staining due to age, but binding is still intact. There's also a little divot in the spine that you can see in the last photo. Book measures about 6.25" x 4.25". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
