Vintage Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and The Hunting of the Snark book by Lewis Carroll. This is a Modern Library edition with lots of black and white illustrations throughout.
Alice in Wonderland is a story about Alice who falls down a rabbit hole and lands into a fantasy world that is full of weird, wonderful people and animals. It's a classic children's book that's popular with children and adults alike. Written as a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass describes Alice's further adventures as she moves through a mirror into another unreal world with chessboards and chess pieces.
I'm unsure of the age, but it was likely published in the 1940s or 1950s. There is wear and discoloration to the cover, spine, and pages but all pages are tightly bound. The book measures about 7.25" x 4.75". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
